You can bring your own laptop – they connect by Bluetooth or USB and you can use one of the PCs in the library or one or our IPADs!

Joining is easy and free. No proof of name and address is required. You also don’t have to live in Stockport. You can use your library card at any library in Stockport.
Children and young people of all ages can have their own library card.

To join a Stockport library simply complete this form and you will be allocated with a temporary membership number.
When you receive this number go to your local Stockport library to complete the membership process.
Once you become a member of the library service you’ll be given a library card. This allows you to use any of the public libraries in Stockport.
You need to show your library card each time you wish to borrow items – items can be renewed at any branch or online.
