These nocturnal creatures are a great way to learn macro-wildlife photography.
During the workshop, Wild Arena will present and demonstrate the fundamentals of macro photography and capturing stunning shots of wildlife close up.
We will cover a variety of topics including:
– The choice & use of macro lenses
– Keeping things in focus
– The creative use of depth-of-field
– Managing movement in the images with shutter speeds.
You will then have the chance to put these techniques into practice and get up close and capture these intricate insects. The moths will be displayed under photographic lighting and woodland dioramas, creating a real-world look indoors.
The sessions are ideally suited to customers using DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and we usually have some demonstration lenses available to try out on the day if you do not already own one.
With group sizes of a maximum of 12 delegates and the convenient and comfortable setting of your local WEX Photo Video store, these days are great value for those photographers wishing to develop their skills in macro and close-up.
