School of Sound and Music Production
Head of School: Rob Magoolagan
About the School
The School of Sound and Music Production creates, composes, produces, mixes and masters music. It records, designs, edits, manipulates and implements sound into films, games and interactive media. We exist to provide the next generation of technically driven creatives, essential to UK world-leading media industries.
In addition to the excellent courses we provide, this school is at the heart of everything we call Futureworks. Our collaborative community consists of filmmakers, editors, game designers, artists, animators and visual effects specialists – they all need sound and music. A part of student life here is working with them to create it.
