This is a free to attend insight day, supported by SharpFutures, Sky and Moonage Pictures, will span across the day and include workshops held by a number of industry professionals, panel and Q & A discussions and an exclusive tour of a working drama set.
If you wish to attend, we are looking at individuals who hold transferrable skills that they feel would apply to the Production Office, Art Department including construction and Locations sectors, who are based in and around Greater Manchester (60 minutes from Space Studios Manchester).
We will be involving production crew from major production creators, Sky Drama and Moonage Pictures, and highlighting High-End dramas which have recently been filmed in Manchester with production bases at Space Studios Manchester.
We aim to offer a unique insight into the working world of production alongside various crew members and Heads of Department with the key objectives, to provide an overview of the television and film industry and the career opportunities it offers to people interested in breaking into this exciting field of employment. Specifically how the skills the attendees hold can be transferrable to the sector, concentrating on the skills listed above because there is a current shortage of these highlighted skills within the Greater Manchester area.
