We are looking forward to presenting The Stockport Open Exhibition 2017 once again at Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery!
It’s going to be an amazing show that really captures the best and most creative of North West artists.
As always there is a call for entries from artists, sculptors, designer makers, photographers, and digital designers to submit the best of their work, and once again we are including the Children’s Open Exhibition section.

This exciting exhibition invites established and emerging artists to submit work in the following formats:

Submission dates & times
- Friday 7th July – 2pm – 6pm
- Saturday 8th July – 10am – 4pm
- Sunday 9th July – 11am – 4pm

People Choice Award Prize Giving: Saturday 2nd September 2pm – 4pm

There will be a prize for the People’s Choice Award in both the Adults and Children’s Open Exhibition Categories.
Michael Hartley-Rose Award
The Award is £100 and 2 one year memberships of Stockport Art Guild. Stockport Art Guild will be presenting the ‘Michael Hartley-Rose Award’ to a Young Artist aged between 17 and 25 . Michael Hartley-Rose was a vital member of Stockport art Guild and it is the wish of his family to promote young artists and Stockport Art Guild in his memory.
The Selection Panel
The Selection panel will be asked to select a diverse range of work, of a high standard to suit a range of visitors. Our selection Panel is made up of the following people: Clare Knox-Bentham, MMU Outreach Paul Brandford, Artist Wendy Momen, Clark Art Gallery
