That time of year is fast approaching again! The 18th September sees National Coding Week 2017 kick off, and as usual, Girl Geek Up North will be involved in a day’s worth of workshops. This year we’re doing things a little differently, and the first workshops to be announced will be a joint venture between two existing organiser teams.
On Saturday 23rd September, in the office of AutoTrader on First Street in Manchester, we’ll be hosting both Django Girls and Rails Girls workshops!
The Django Girls workshop involves creating a website using Python and Django, whereas the Rails Girls workshop involves creating a web application with Ruby on Rails. Whichever workshop you choose to apply for you’ll be sure to have an amazing time. Here are some pics from the last few workshops we’ve run to prove it!
You can apply to attend either workshop here, and register to coach here.
We’re also looking for sponsors to support this amazing event. If you would like to help us, please get in touch!
These events are brought to you by Manchester premier organisations team; Ben Aldred, Leona So, Tekin Sulyman and Claire Wicher.
