The Music Managers Forum is bringing their popular music industry networking event to Manchester.
Since its inception in 1992, the MMF has worked hard to educate, inform and represent UK managers as well as offering a network through which managers can share experiences, opportunities and information.
This is a great opportunity to join Manchester’s local music community, grow your network and meet managers, producers, artists, labels, accountants, lawyers, publishers and agents. This first event is a social get-together – industry speakers for future events already confirmed include BBC Introducing, Band On The Wall and Key Productions among others.
The event will be held at the Teacup Kitchen, Manchester. It is an award-winning restaurant and cafe in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, established by Manchester’s very own Mr Scruff. They pride theirselves on their collection of tea including looseleaf, whole flower and bagged blends. They also offer breakfasts, brunched and dinners. The event is being ran by Marcy Music Management – Marcy Music Management is an artist management agency based in Manchester and London. Sandra Marcy exclusively represents British Asian bass guitarist Shez Raja. She has a number of years industry experience and has handled publicity, press and marketing for world-renowned artists as well as acting as a freelance consultant for festivals and venues.
