Digital university, for a digital world… imagine our possibilities!
This won’t be too hard to imagine on Thursday 12 December when we welcome Alan Crawford, a digital expert from Microsoft, to campus.
Alan is described as a phenomenal user, trainer and evangelist, and will be with us to talk specifically about Office 365 and Teams. He will take us through what our first steps into Office 365 will enable, demonstrating where this could take us in the future, as we full fil our aim to become a fully digital University.
Alan aims to cover:
- Becoming digital with Microsoft Office 365 – 5 mins + questions
- Getting to know Microsoft Teams – 5 mins + questions
- Working with others in Microsoft Teams – 5 mins + questions
If you would like to see how digital technology will enhance working life here at the University, come down to Lecture Theater B in the Roscoe Building for a 2 pm start on Thursday 12 December.
The event will be hosted by Malcolm Whitehouse, The University’s Chief Information Officer, and other colleagues from IT Services. The presentation will not last the full two hours, leaving time for one-to-one discussions at the end.
Please book a place so we know that you are coming.
The event will be recorded and made available on the University’s video portal for those who cannot make it.
