Learn to Program with JavaScript!

This introductory course is a two week, two evenings per week course that teaches you the basics of coding with JavaScript. The course is run by the Northcoders tutors with additional mentoring support provided by students who are a few weeks into our immersive 12 week coding bootcamp.

These are the sessions you are booking for:

Tuesday February 6th:

Set up to learn to code, developer tools, JavaScript strings, variables, numbers, simple functions

Tuesday February 13th:

Introducing JavaScript objects, arrays, data retrieval

Tuesday February 20th:

JavaScript loops and how to use them

Tuesday February 27th:

More advanced JavaScript functions, arguments and parameters, functions as simple values

Anyone, from any background, can learn to code.

You don’t need a computer science degree or a special qualification. What you need is a solid grounding in the latest technologies – skills employers actually need.

We offer courses for anyone interested in learning whether coding is for them – and for those looking to kick-start their career. Our Bootcamp curriculum is updated continuously in line with what businesses in the North tell us that they need.

And we’ll provide one-to-one, tailored, in-house career support for our Bootcamp students to ensure you find work as a developer with clients in our large Hiring Partner Network.

So it’s no surprise that 93% of our graduates are now working as software developers.

But we’re not just a coding bootcamp – we are a community. It’s at the heart of what it means to be a Northcoder.

Our Introduction to Programming course is now free for teachers, contact us at [email protected] for a ticket.

All the sessions run from 6pm to 9pm. The ticket is for all four sessions.
