We at Curated Place are teaming up with Bury Art Museum to deliver a weekend of Light and Music.
Building on the success of the popular Bury Light Night we are bringing an array of local and international artists to transform spectacular Bury landmarks for an amazing weekend for all the family to enjoy. Be prepared to be dazzled with light and sound.
ENLIGHTEN Bury is a new sound and light festival bringing together a stellar programme of world premieres, award winning artworks and international musicians.
Curated Place have partnered with Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre to develop ENLIGHTEN Bury, a new sound and light festival that will take place over two nights, reinventing the experience of Light Night into a town-spanning art installation trail alongside an international music festival.
An astonishing array of interactive light and sound installations will bring the streets, venues, galleries and bars of Bury’s cultural quarter to life, while stars of the experimental world music will play into the night.
ENLIGHTEN Bury features music and A/V performances from Hannah Peel, Wrangler, Plaid, Sykur, Orka, Wyles & Simpson, Cobby and Litten, James Orvis and more, with visual art interactives from BAFTA-winning Seb Lee-Delise, Felix Thorn, Paul Friedlander, The Owl Project and Stanza to name but a few.
Installations, the light walk, and The Met performances are FREE, while music concerts in the Transport Museum and Parish Church are ticketed.
Earlybird and VIP Weekender Tickets (allowing just 20 people access to the aftershow parties) are now available with day and regular weekend tickets being released soon.
These tickets can be exchanged for a wristband at the event and will allow access to all paid events each night.
Venue sizes vary though, so outside of the Parish Church it will be first come first served.
Light installations 1800-2100 (free) // Music Programme 1900-2300 (day/weekend wristband) // Afterparty 2200-0200 (ticketed – very limited)
