Genomic data requires powerful computing and complex analytical and programming capabilities. It provides detailed and unique insights into every person, with the potential to identify an individual’s risk of developing diseases or level of response to treatment.

Could genomic medicine exist without integrated digital systems or something to that effect? What is the next step in genomic medicine? Will artificial intelligence perform a more involved role in this type of medicine?
