Equipment
You will need a computer/laptops/Chromebook or Macbook.
You will need to have applications running at the same time as you are connected to the Jitsi broadcast.
Safeguarding
They will be using Jitsi Meet which is web based conferencing tool, so there is no need to install any new software.
They would like an adult to stay for the session with the child throughout the session.
The software allows the user to share their webcam and also their screens. They would start the session with everybody hidden apart from the mentors.
If you don’t wish them to share their webcam and are concern your child may accidentally click on share button then please tape paper over the webcam.
Also Jitsi allows users to privately message each other, they have not found any other free tools that can stop that, so this is why they want a parent/guardian to stay with the child.
