Join Radio 1’s Katie Thistleton, for this masterclass on podcasting for young audiences. She’ll be zooming with podcast queen, BBC commissioner and producer Leanne Alie, who has looked after the Reality Tea podcast for Radio 1 and Slide Into My Podcast with Snoochie Shy for Radio 1xtra and BBC Sounds.
Leanne currently has titles in development for young (female skewing) audiences in 2021. She’ll be joined by award winning podcast presenter Raj Pander who used to co-host Reality Tea and now produces Slide Into My Podcast and also has a new independent podcast out called Thank you Next pod. They’ll be talking about the rise of podcasting amongst younger audiences, what the BBC commissioning team are looking for and what makes for a hit podcast.
