Want to bring your favourite Emoji into the physical realm using free 3D modelling software?
On this 2.5 hour workshop, you’ll learn the basic principles of 3D modelling using free online software Tinkercad. Using the cube tool, you’ll build a 3D model of your favourite emoji – or create your own! You’ll then be introduced to Slicer, a modelling software that will prepare your model to be laser cut and assembled in stacked slices.
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for all abilities, and welcome’s beginners with no previous experience.

All materials and equipment will be provided on the day.

- Introduction to 3D printing technologies (consumer and pro)
- Hands-on learning with Tinkercad – tools and software navigation
- Create an emoji using 3D ‘pixels’ (Tinkercad cube tool)
- Exporting 3D model for laser cutting using Slicer
